A recent collaboration effort with some fantastic women was published today on Green Wedding Shoes! It was an all fair-trade/eco friendly styled shoot to display some of the beautiful handmade crafts of others that are being paid a livable wage and made from sustainable materials.
I am inspired by other people’s stories of considering what they are passionate about and turning this into action through relationship, compassion, and almost always some huge risks. The women of Sseko are passionate about educating women and a working environment that fosters “dignity, honor and dedication” (you can read their organization’s story here). Celia Grace also promotes a fair working wage and environmental stewardship, as well as access to clean drinking water. The list goes on for the things that drive each organization and business (I’ve linked to their facebook pages below).
I still find that I struggle to put my passion to see marginalized women have dignity, safety, and love. I’m for sure still in process and very inspired by the lives of others.
To celebrate the publishing and people who pursue their passions, I’m giving away one of my favorite items that the women of Sseko make, their White Arrow Clutch in caramel.

There seem to be so many new passions developing in my life lately that it would hard to pick one. However, one pinterest quote that always sticks out in my mind is “I just want to create beautiful things even if nobody cares.” That’s how I feel right about now. I feel passionate about creating beauty in life. Whether it’s in my photography, cooking a new recipe for friends, or working in my yard, I just want to create beauty for all to enjoy!
I’m passionate about a lot of things like photography and the homeless, but recently, I’ve had a constant burning desire to share Dad’s (God’s) love with those around me: to those who don’t know Dad and those who may already know Him. I am not satisfied with the amount of people who know Jesus. I’m not satisfied that there are still a ton of people who don’t know Dad. I think we can do better. This is just a glimpse of what I am passionate about!
I’m passionate about peace – with ourselves, each other and God.
I feel passionate about justice and the improvement of our surroundings.
I’m passionate about many things: my husband, my kids, justice, equality for ethnic groups and women– but when I really think about it, I can narrow it down to two things which seems to encompass all that I am passionate about– God and people. .
Waste-free living is my passion right now. Being a good steward on this Earth.
I am passionate about spending less and giving more – helping the lost, the broke , and hurting. Spreading Gods love and letting His light shine to those in darkness. I am passionate about discovering the ways God can use me to glorify His name in this life
I’m passionate about loving God, loving people…about living life with joy and making decisions that are mindful of other’s well being, and of hearing and telling really great stories!
I am passionate about motherhood. Creating a home and making it peaceful and inviting, full of love, learning and joy. I am trying to lead a more simple life, and celebrating the small things.
PS. Love the shoes, and I NEED your California top! Gotta represent my home! xoxo
Thanks for this cool giveaway, Tina! I think I’m passionate about developing people into the people God intends them to be.
I am passionate about a lot of things but to just name a few? First, Jesus–sharing the truth of who he is and what he is about with others. But then of course, sharing my life with family, friends, and others. Laughing until I cry. Making others smile. Living in complete freedom with Christ…
I am passionate about helping others. I volunteer at a local hospital and have done for 16 years. I volunteer as the liason between surgery patients and their families…keeping them informed of surgery times, lengths of time in the recovery room etc. The funny thing is that I get more out of doing this than I put in! My family is not in ICU, on Dialysis and I am reminded of my blessings and the joys in my life.
There are quite a few things, but I will say that one of my passions is having a healthy lifestyle and wanting to help people who do too. It’s not only changed things for me, but for my family as well. I love when I get the chance to help someone who wants to improve their overall heath through nutrition. I’m not an expert by any means, but I enjoy passing on the info I’ve been given and seen work. 🙂
That bag is adorable!
I’m passionate about creative collaboration, especially in the Seattle music scene because it’s such a loving and thriving community of insanely talented artists. I love helping spread the word about musicians that I respect and appreciate in any way that I can.
I’m passionate about discipleship, teaching and letting others be encouraged by how God has gotten me through the ups and downs of this crazy life! A testimony is too powerful of a thing to keep to yourself!
One of the things I’m passionate about is food–cooking it, eating it, and sharing it with good friends. 🙂
I’m passionate about caring for kids in need and showing them love, traveling, and learning about people. Love that clutch!
I am passionate about designing with outdoor elements; specifically floral design. Ask me to identify a flower or a tree and I will enter into Miranda’s nerdy world of floral knowledge. Creating beautiful arrangements and sharing them with my friends on their special day is my passion.
