A week ago Josh gave Brittany his great-grandmother’s ring and they decided to spend the rest of their lives together. He made a book that contained the story of how they met and fell in love, and he read it to her on the pier at Avila Beach. The ring is the one that his great-grandfather (“Grandpop”) gave his great-grandma on their 20th wedding anniversary. He replaced the diamond in the middle with a sapphire stone, Brittany’s favorite. My heart was so full after watching this all unfold and I can’t wait to party at their wedding.
