Black and white image of my grandmother in the mountains

This is one of my favorite family photos. It’s a grainy, blurry film photo of my grandmother at a river in the Sierra Nevadas (where my I also grew up camping). It’s such an imperfect photo in so many ways. But I love it not only because it allows me to see her when she was young, but she also looks so happy and herself.

I approach your wedding day knowing it's not going to be perfect in every way (and the imperfect parts are usually my favorite to moments). But my hope is that I can capture you and your loved ones as naturally, candidly and as timeless as possible. It’s so much fun to give you images that you get to enjoy. But I also find a lot of purpose in creating timeless images that will be loved by the generations that follow you.

Tina was a source of calm, fun-loving energy on our wedding day. Not only is she the sweetest, but she is also incredibly talented, creative, and professional."

I moved to the coast to attend school at Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo many years ago. I'm so grateful to call the Central Coast home.
