Shooting this wedding dress was a dream. It was handmade from hand woven eco silk by a women’s cooperative in Cambodia. It is part of Celia Grace’s collection of fair trade and eco friendly wedding dresses. It is simply a beautiful piece of handcrafted art. If you are unfamiliar with fair trade, Celia Grace defines it this way: “where people are paid a living wage, work in safe and fair conditions, and can break the cycle of poverty.” The awesome sandals the models is wearing are from Sseko Designs. They are also fair trade and made by women in Uganda. There is more coming from both of the artisans and I can’t wait to share about it. Jael McGowan did Kate’s hair and make-up. So stinkin’ beautiful. If you are looking for a way to reflect your values of compassion in your wedding, I highly recommend looking at this wedding line. More to come later!
These photographs are so great! That’s one of my favorite locations to shoot at. Well done!
