Last fall Tiana from Aurelia Flora, along with her husband, and I packed up a car with flowers and camera gear and road tripped to Lyla and Justin’s wedding at Merryman’s Beach House in Trinidad, California. We were fulled by Reese’s Pieces and our podcast playlists. I knew their wedding would be special, but it really was the stuff of an intimate wedding photographer’s dream. The rugged Northern California Coast is way less crowded than the rest of California and it made for an amazing backdrop. Lyla and Justin were as laid back as a couple getting married can get (and the kindest people). Also, there were all-you-can-eat oysters…so yeah, a dream.
