Azure from Ciel Bleu Events pulled together a gorgeous rehearsal dinner for Morgan and Warren’s Riata Ranch wedding in Santa Margarita. This is one of those venues that just makes me so grateful to live and work on the Central Coast of California.
Morgan and Warren hosted their wedding guests for a rehearsal dinner under Riata’s Swedish tents. They met their guests with a drink from Sidecar and a welcome bag featured a branded handkerchief designed by Fête & Quill. Field to Table served a crab feed and Negranti followed with their famous ice cream sandwiches. It was the perfect golden warm evening to kick off their wedding weekend.
A fun bonus to my time with their guests was running into a couple from my hometown of Firebaugh, California. They were the first guests to arrive so we struck up a conversation. We realized we were from the same small town. After figuring it all out they told me he was in my parent’s wedding. It’s surprising and not at the same time. The Central Valley has strong ties to the Central Coast. The affection is not always returned from the coast folks, but I will always hold the valley in a special place in my heart (and I’ll defend it proudly as well).
